WHAT IS "House of Pho?"
House of Pho serves quality food that is fresh and healthy. Our restaurant team members exude a warm, friendly and energetic spirit that conveys a sense of honest value and a commitment to exceed the expectations of our guests. We don't serve alcohol, but we are BYOB. We're just a high-energy, casual dining restaurant that offers quality food at a good value to our guests. We offer a high-quality menu featuring our signature 'Pho' (Beef or chicken noodle soup), complemented by a host of other mouth watering dishes such as lightly breaded Salmon, Tilapia, Basa or jumbo shrimp sauted with tamarind sauce, or our special Vietnamese beef stew, which are all representative of the rich culinary tradition of Vietnam. Quality, flavor, value, moderate prices and sincere service remain distinct attributes of the House of Pho's experience. We are popular with all ages – kids, families, young adults, "baby boomers" and senior citizens – and all income levels. Our average check per guest is about the same (or less) than what you would pay for an average experience at one of the "mass market" casual dining restaurants. The difference is that at House of Pho we believe you get much more for your money!

WHAT IS "PHO?"
Definition from Wikipedia, Pho is a Vietnamese dish consisting of broth, noodles made from rice, a few herbs, and meat.[1] It is a popular street dish,[2] and the specialty of several restaurant chains. The two main varieties are chicken pho and beef pho. There is also Saigon-style pho (sweetened) and Hanoi-style pho (no sugar). The word "pho" may be derived from French pot-au-feu (beef stew).[3]
Indeed, if there is a national dish of Vietnam, it's pho with the proper Vietnamese spelling (usually pronounced as "foe" by most Americans, but in Vietnamese it comes out sounding something like "fuh?", with a rising tone). It's beloved by just about everyone both in Vietnam and in the many Vietmanese communities in America, and seems to me to be as integral to Vietnamese cuisine and culture as gumbo is to Louisianian cuisine and culture.
